NUDGE (No Use Delaying Gender Equity) Party

Senator Maggie Tinsman, President of 50/50 in 2020:  Political Equity for Iowa Women, has opened her home for a “Give A NUDGE (No Use Delaying Gender Equity)” party on Tuesday, July 26th, 5-7:00 pm at 2865 Hickory Hills Lane, Bettendorf .

Iowa women make up 53% of the registered voters and turn out to vote in higher percentages than men.  Why then do women in Iowa only represent 22.6% of the seats in the Legislature?  Iowa has never elected a female governor or sent a woman to Washington as U.S. Senator or U.S. Representative. A century is long enough to wait for equality!

Join Maggie in a casual conversation about giving women a NUDGE.  (Wine and cheese provided by the American Association of University Women   RSVP – Linda Greenlee 563-359-3624 or maggie.tinsman@mchsi.com)
