Quad Cities Coming Together:
What We Need in Health Care Reform
You are invited to participate in a bi-state Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, March 28, at Augustana College to gather local input for health care reform. Staff from the local offices of most of our U.S. Senators and Representatives will be there to participate and have agreed to take our ideas to our Senators and Representatives in Washington. click to download the flyer
Aaron Buchko, Ph.D., of Bradley University will set the task as we meet together at the beginning. We will then break into small groups, each with a trained facilitator, to discuss community health care needs and share ideas about meaningful and measurable changes we want in order to meet those needs. At the end we will gather again as a large group, moderated by Dr. Buchko, to review the results of the small group discussions.
Advance registration (at no charge) is strongly recommended for guaranteed seating and materials. Contact Terry Wisecarver at or 309-234-5991 to register. (If Terry’s phone number is long distance for you, call Karen at 563-355-0093.)
As event materials become available, links will be posted on this page for those wishing to review them in advance. click to download the flyer
