But is the method safe? When filmmaker Josh Fox is asked to lease his land for drilling, he decides to investigate, embarking upon a cross-country odyssey. He uncovers a trail of secrets, lies and contamination-from unexplained illnesses to flammable tap water-in this expose of a new country called “GASLAND.”
